Oh my god EVERYBODY SHUT UP theres an anime adaption of Lets go Karoke

i read the manga a couple of years ago and i thought it was a very silly little manga, and sorta fell in love with it. It was something simple, very silly and I fell in love with both of the characters and how they progressed. It lead me to reading the authors other works such as Captivated by you which I also adored so so so much and is also getting an anime adaption too?!!!. So needless to say I was very exicited to see it animated and I dont think I was let down. The anime is only going to be 5 episodes which is kinda a shame because I want to see them more, but it makes sense because its a short manga. So far only two episodes out of the five have been released and I decently like them. Theyre a bit different compared ot the manga, but that is expected when it comes to adaptions. However I think it keeps the spirit of it pretty well and enjoying it so much.

but but I kinda forgot how much of lets go karoke was this 30 yr old accidently accidently torturing this middle schooler. Dude is alright but my god i am like this poor kid is going through it.

I do like that the show is more upfront with Satomis fear of not being able to sing as well or as high as he used to. From what I remember It was kinda more at the butt end of the manga, squished inbetween the ending so I feel like this is better placement. I cant remember if the dreams sAtomi has were part of the manga, but i feel like theyre a little overdramatic tone for a comedy show. It literally made Satomi seem really traumatized by all of which I wasnt sure if thats what they were going for, but some of them werre funny so mayhaps its okay.

Episode 3

one word Ugh that hurt. Which i guess is techically with three but man what an episode what an episode!!!! I forgot how much of the story was Satomi was going through the horrors. Like first the finger than watching some guy get wacked! Again, I do not remember this story being so traumatiizing for this lil guy or if it was it was made more silly. However, I do really love that they get the voice actors to sing its so cool because its a huge thing to satomi and its like woah! Idk its cool. I also like how much Satomi and his classmate talk. I dont remember him being so prevlant in the manga but its cool somebody else notices hes struggling and is trying to help him the best he can. I also like that Satomi and Kyouji are rubbing off on each other, and they take inspiration and ideas from one another and it kidan futhers the plot. Its so fun to see these two relationship develop and how Satomi .Also everytime i watch the show i forget how much the artstyle fucks. Its got this nice brown line art tthat matches with the colors really well and really beautiful detailing with the eyes of the main cast. Its very cool and sorta soothing to watch. I also really loved taht everybody gave Satomi a lil charm and he was like over it b the third one. Now theres thee goofyness i remember. But now unto the not fun stuff. I FORGOT SATOMI FINDS KYOUJIS FUCKING CAR WRECKED ON HIS WAY TO THE FESTIVAL. THIS POOR LIL GUY HE IS GOING THROUGH IT!! SOMEBODY GET THIS man a tissue. Anywho I am looking forward to the next episode.
